May 2019 Police Unity Tour

Annually with other Volunteers, Bikeland has proudly volunteer to support the Annual Spring 4 day Unity Police Bike Tour. This and in many past years, Oscar the Owner of Bikeland is riding in the chase support vehicle as a bike mechanic to provide bike maintenance and repair for the tour riders. The primary purpose of the Police Unity Tour is to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty. Also to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial and Museum. The tour was created in May 1997 by Officer Patrick P. Montuore of the Florham Park Police Department. Since then it has grown from 18 riders to nearly 2500 members nationwide who make the trip annually to take part in a four day fund-raising bicycle ride from Florham Park, NJ to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, D.C.. It's an impressive event with many people cheering the riders along the way and support vehicles to help the riders complete the ride. We're very proud of all our Law Enforcement Officers, and Bikeland is alway honored to Support & Volunteer for the Unity Police Bike Tour.
